Route Network Planning for Last Mile & Neighbourhood Connectivity in Delhi

Street Surge designed 146 routes for 2,080 midsize electric buses to build a clean, inclusive, and efficient public transport network for Delhi. This tech-enabled redesign supports a critical shift from private vehicles to public transport.

Using Big Data and AI to optimize mobility, we’ve created transport planning framework for healthier, more just cities—where public transport serves everyone.
Enhancing Last Mile Connectivity for a Metro Rail Network

Delhi Metro has been at the forefront of enhancing connectivity for residents of Delhi NCR. In a recent bid to boost last-mile connectivity, DMRC commissioned a study with Street Surge to measure metro station ridership vis-à -vis trips from its catchment regions and design Last Mile connectivity routes for e-buses, e-Rickshaws & ride sharing services.
Leveraging Big Data to build travel demand inputs for a
new metro corridor

For the proposed Golden Line metro corridor in Delhi, we used Big Data to map real-world travel demand with precision—laying the groundwork for smarter, more responsive transit infrastructure.
Our analysis provided key inputs to align metro planning with actual commuter needs, helping ensure that the new corridor delivers maximum impact, accessibility, and value to the city’s growing transit network.
